Shipping Policies

Q: Why is shipping to [insert your country here] so expensive?

A: PIXIES: A Visual History, Volume 1, was created, printed, and published in the United States. It is also fulfilled in the United States, meaning that no matter where in the world you have purchased, or are purchasing the book, it is coming from our fulfillment house in Michigan. All shipping is handled by the United States Postal Service.

For people in the US, shipping options are either Media Mail (slower, cheaper) or Priority Mail (faster, more expensive). For the rest of the world, the only option available is USPS International Air Mail. This is unfortunately a very expensive shipping option. Keep in mind, PAVH:V1 is a four-pound, hardcover book.  Shipping prices around the world have skyrocketed in the last 5 years. We understand shipping to most parts of the world outside of the US is crazy expensive. We have looked at any and all shipping options that would lower the cost and still track the book along the way to it’s destination. Everything is expensive.

For the next book, and all other book projects moving forward, we will be working with a fulfillment company based either in Europe or in the UK. That will go a long ways toward reducing the shipping costs.
